“At that time I will search Jerusalem with lamps and punish those who are complacent, who are like wine left on its dregs, who think, ‘The Lord will do nothing, either good or bad.’”
Lord,
Rid me of my complacency until I burn for You. Give me a zeal for Your name that will outlast any suffering that comes my way. I want to be used by You, I want to love You with all that I am. I do not want to get comfortable and think that You “will do nothing, either good or bad.” Instead I want to be a person of great expectations!
